I love the Irish Terrier breed. My IT "Cassie" is 6 years old in October, and she is a "Roismar" girl, and I will always have one of these red heads. I can't resist their beautiful eyes and their loving nature. I have met quite a few irish terriers and they are all spunky, and of course, very spoilt.

Comments : I loved your comments about the Irish Terrier jumping like a pogo-stick and sleeping with their legs in the air. I have a 1 1/2year old dog 'Skip' IKC name 'Bensheir Quota' who does exactly that. Great family dog and I often call him 'shadow' as he follows me everywhere. Good luck with site.

Comments : great site very informative for researching the breed. I've previously owned Silky Terriers, my husband prefers a large dog and had German Shepherds for their intelligence and stamina, the Irish Terrier for all accounts seems to be a fit for both of us in the future when we are ready to commit to dogs again.
